Summer 08

Well the summer is drawing to a close for most everyone though it still is hotter than... I'm not complaining though I want it to stay hot as long as it can! We had a good summer, lots of things going on with moving and trying to get settled in. My parents came out to watch Kya for a few days while Nate and I went to Puerto Rico for the UA convention. We had a blast on the beach and at all the parties! And my parents loved being with Kya and vice versa! We all had our birthdays in the summer so lots of fun. Fourth of July we went to a festival in Bluffton and watched fireworks and then the next night went down to the riverwalk and hung out and watched the fireworks there. Those fireworks were the best I'd ever seen. They lasted at least forty five minutes! We spent lots of weekends at the beach. It's so much fun to be able to drive to the beach in a half hour and spend the day there. Kya really loves surf and sand! We went to lots of baseball games as well, the Sandgnats are our farm team here. Kytavia loves the mascot, Gnate the gnat, she can't get enough of him. Kytavia and I went to Utah for two weeks in August and had blast! We went to Griff's bday party and Kya got to see some of her cousins. We did lots of swimming and Kya got to hang out with Grandpa ALOT. They became best buds! She loved the museum of all the animals that are hanging in my parents house. She had to touch all the animals noses everyday. It was so cute! We had a great summer and we are looking forward to the fall here...who knows what Georgia will bring!

Kytavia's First Birthday!!

August 26 was Kytavia's first birthday! We celebrated early at Grandma and Grandpa's with a barbeque and cupcakes. On her birthday we had some friends over and had a cook out and then had birthday cake! She loved the icing and made a great mess. We loved every minute of it! She got lots of presents from family and friends. Our trip to Utah was fun, Kya did great on all the plane rides. She entertained the people around us. Kytavia said her first couple words in Utah and of course they were deer, fish and hi. And she also barks like a dog! She is an entertaining baby! Happy First Birthday Kytavia! We love you!
