This Post Is For Konie, I'm Back!

How handsome is my little man? He is seriously the best baby ever! I dare you to argue. He sleeps through the night (has for months) he doesn't cry unless you refuse to feed him(that's just mean) and he falls asleep by himself. He is so so so happy 99% of the time. I will have to post a video of him laughing...funniest thing! Okay enough bragging.
Here's my other handsome man! He built this awesome rock monument up Hidden Canyon and I have to say I was impressed. He did a great job and did it so quick! Great hike, we recommend it!

Here's my little runner. She has been in a couple races and she does such a great job. She loves winning medals! So proud of Kya-bird!

Okay I know it took me forever (over a year) but I will now try to do better at this thing...but seriously somebody come teach me because I have forgotten and to be honest I wasn't all that great anyways! Hope everyone has a great holiday season!

Kytavia's 2nd Bday and Utah Trip!!!

Okay the last three weeks have been fun fun fun! Kya and I
went to Utah the last week of August while Nate went to Atlanta
for training. Nate joined us over the weekend and we had Kya's
birthday party...the pictures are out of order so you'll see those
at the end...oops! Nate then flew to Savannah and the next day
to Dallas. He came back to Savannah for the weekend and then
flew to Montana for a trip that he earned from the company! I'll
try to upload some pics of his trip...he went horseback riding, fishing
and river rafting! I was so jealous! He had a busy three weeks and
hopefully things will slow down and he can have a moment to breathe!
So while Nate was flying around the country, Kya and I were in Utah
still hanging out with family and friends! It was so good to see
everyone!

Kya is loving summer and can not get enough of SWIMMING!
You can see below that YES she can swim...not the best
but she is doing amazing for just turning 2!!! I am so proud of her
and she works so hard everytime she is in the water to do better.
I can see that she will be able to do anything that she puts her
mind to...she is amazing! She is jumping off the diving board and
going down the slide all by herself and loves every minute of it!
She will go and get everyones swimsuit for them and tell them..
"suit...suit...suit" to get them to put on their swimsuit and take
her swimming! So cute!

We had our traditional dinner at Samurai 21 before Kya
and I left...that girl loves rice, edamame and noodles! She
also loves wasabi?!?! Funny huh!

Cherie, Taylor, Tim and my dad enjoying dinner!

Cher, Tim, me and Kya-bird!

Kya really enjoys things that taste like mint...including
floss. She proceeded to unroll the whole package...sorry
Grandma!

For Kya's birthday we really wanted to do a Luau party
because she really enjoyed the luau we went to earlier
in the summer. One thing led to another and it turned
into a great big bash and we loved every minute of it!
We were able to see so many people that we don't get to
very ofter and we are so thankful for everyone that came!
Thank you! We had a blast and hopefully everyone did as well!
We roasted a pig while everyone was swimming and playing on
the bounce house/water slide! That water slide was the best! We
did have a few injuries...Jen and Abbie...I'm not sure who else but
I was sore after all that climbing and diving!Good times! We had
an awesome volleyball game going too! It was great to see everyone
and thank you all for your help and for coming! We love you!
The Birthday Girl!!!

Tim's party outfit...what an awesome uncle!

Kya and her cousins opening presents! She
does love to open them...so cute! She got the
cutest presents! Thanks to everyone!

The blowing of the candles!

So for the entertainment we had the TieaTiea(spelling)
family do some dancing for us! That was so fun and
everyone enjoyed them! Some people were picked
on to go up and dance(sorry Ashlee) and that turned
out to be hilarious! Tim is an amazing dancer as you
can see...he might have made the poor girl a little
uncomfortable but everyone else was rolling on the ground!
Sorry the pics aren't the greatest...it was a little dark.

Brit getting her freak on....

The next weekend we went up to Wellsville for
Labor Day/Founders Day and were able to
hang out with family. Kya loved the parade and
playing with all the kids...she has come out of
her shell and its so fun to watch her play with
everyone! She is such a sweet girl and loves to give
hugs and kisses to everyone! Now back to Savannah
to recover...

CAMPOUT!

We went camping this weekend at Little Ocmulgee
State Park. It was hot and humid...so humid that
building a fire was basically impossible. We had so much
fun though. We went on a hike and played at the splash
pad. Kya played on about 10 different playgrounds all
weekend. I can not believe how many bugs/insects are
out there...luckily we were able to ward off the mosquitoes
but Kya got attacked by the fire ants many times. We also
had some visitors in the night...five raccoons and a cat that
proceeded to fight over our garbage in the back of my truck
all night so I didn't sleep. That was fun! Ha but we were glad
to get back and shower and sleep with no humidity! Ahhh HOME!

Summer Months!

AHHH! Its been one busy summer!
I can't believe its almost over...I am not
happy about that! Most of all I can't believe
that in three weeks my baby is going to be
TWO!!! Yikes...where has the time gone? Here
are pics to catch ya up on the last two months!

I know I haven't posted in forever but here is a
mega post! These pics are of Kya's art project, she loves
art days! It was hot but she made the most of it and loved
getting the hose on her after!

A few weeks ago we went down to Jacksonville, FL
and took Kya to the zoo. It was a rainy day so lots
of humidity but it was actually nice since the sun wasn't
blaring down on us.

For the Fourth of July we went and spent the day at Tybee Beach
and then watched the fireworks on the beach! It was so much
fun! The next day we went to the clubhouse and spent the day
at the pool, having a carnival of sorts and then did our own fireworks
at the house. We had a great weekend and got lots of sun!

This pic was taken on Hilton Head Island, we
went and spent the day over there and rented
bikes and explored the island. I love that place!

Random Pics of the summer...Kya all
dressed up...I love this pic! Such a cheese
ball.

Jen and Kya playin on the splash pad!

Nate took Kya out for a walk after it had rained for
like seven days and although she wore her beloved boots
and jacket it did not keep her from throwing herself into
the water...she loves getting wet what can I say!

BEAR HUNT 09!!!!

May has been a very busy and extrememly fun month! Kya was able to go to Utah with Gram and Gramps and spent some time with everyone! Mom joined up with her about 10 days later...yes it was hard and I don't want to do it any time soon. While Kya was playin it up in Utah, mom and dad were moving and working...the grandparents were a lifesaver! I drew out on Bear this year as well as my brother Tim so we headed up to La Sal Mtns near Moab and went about hunting bear. We saw a lot the first week but we were never close enough to get a shot on any. The second week we brought up Kya and my mom and they camped while we hunted. We had such a blast! Kya is a great camper and such a big trooper. She would probably love to live like this because she is always outdoors. Here are some camping pics...

Here is my dad riding in trailer of the fourwheeler...being goofy...caught ya!

And a pic of our campsite from Kya's swing...her awesome uncle Bimmy made the swing up for her and it was a favorite activity! Thanks Bim!

Alright! Finally some pics of the great bear! I did a spot and staulk...which is very difficult and I am proud to say I accomplished it! I hiked into and out of "the bear hole" many times and it finally paid off. I shot and killed the bear at about 8:00 PM so we were only able to get a few pics in before it was dark. We did another photo session the next morning so Kya and my mom could join! I had a blast hunting with my fam and the camping was great too. Thanks to my brothers for all their help, I probably would have been eaten by the mama bear and especially my guide...my dad! Couldn't have done it without you!
